Dan Mcneil

Director of Specialty Tax Services

Dan is an experienced tax and accounting professional with eleven years of experience. He is a licensed CPA and holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting. Prior to spending the last six years specializing in R&D tax credits, Dan worked in the software development industry focusing on accounting software for large construction companies.

As an R&D specialist, Dan has worked with a wide range of taxpayers from small closely held businesses to Fortune 500 Companies. Dan has implemented R&D credit studies in multiple industries including: Software Development, Manufacturing, Food and Beverage, Consumer Electronics, Medical Device, Financial Services, Architecture and Engineering, Construction, Agriculture and Agronomy, and Oil and Gas.

Prior to joining KPT Dan was a Senior Associate in the National Tax Office of Eide Bailly LLP and a Manager in KPMG’s Accounting Methods and Credit Services group.
